OVERVIEW
At Tennessee Wedding Venues, we offer both standard Business Listings and premium Featured Listings on our directory website. This refund policy outlines our procedures and policies regarding payments for these listings.
LISTING SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD
All Business Listings and Featured Listings are sold on an annual subscription basis. The subscription period begins on the date of purchase and continues for 12 months.
REFUND ELIGIBILITY PERIOD
Our refund policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your listing purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund.
REFUND CONDITIONS
Full Refunds
Full refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:
- The listing was purchased but not yet published on our website
- Technical issues on our part prevented your listing from appearing properly
- We were unable to provide the service as described at the time of purchase
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:
- The listing has been active for less than 30 days from the date of purchase
- Service interruptions or technical issues significantly affected your listing for an extended period
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- More than 30 days have passed since the listing purchase
- The listing has received exposure and potential customer views
- The business decides to close, relocate outside of Tennessee, or otherwise no longer offers wedding venue services
- The business owner simply changes their mind about wanting a listing
- Lack of leads, inquiries, or bookings resulting from the listing (as we cannot guarantee business results)
- The business owner failed to keep their listing information up to date
PRORATED REFUNDS
If a partial refund is approved within the 30-day window, the refund amount will be calculated on a prorated basis:
- 1-7 days after purchase: 90% refund
- 8-14 days after purchase: 75% refund
- 15-21 days after purchase: 50% refund
- 22-30 days after purchase: 25% refund
FEATURED LISTING DOWNGRADES
If you purchased a Featured Listing and wish to downgrade to a standard Business Listing within the 30-day window, we will:
- Cancel your Featured Listing
- Create a standard Business Listing
- Refund the price difference on a prorated basis as outlined above
REFUND PROCESS
To request a refund, please:
- Contact us at support@tennesseeweddingvenues.com
- Include your business name, the date of purchase, and reason for requesting a refund
- Provide proof of purchase (receipt or transaction ID)
Once your refund request is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
- First check your bank account again
- Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
- Next contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted
- If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@tennesseeweddingvenues.com
LISTING RENEWALS
For annual renewals:
- We will notify you 30 days before your listing is set to expire
- If you choose not to renew, your listing will be removed from our directory after the expiration date
- Renewal payments are subject to the same refund policy as initial purchases
- No refunds will be issued for automatic renewals if you failed to cancel before the renewal date
PROMOTIONAL OR DISCOUNTED LISTINGS
- Listings purchased with promotional codes or during special discount periods are eligible for refunds only on the amount actually paid
- In some cases, deeply discounted promotional listings may be non-refundable, which will be clearly stated at the time of purchase
SERVICE CHANGES
We reserve the right to modify the features and benefits of different listing types. If substantial changes are made during your subscription period that materially reduce the value of your listing, you may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion.
CANCELLATION VS. REFUNDS
Please note the difference between cancellations and refunds:
- Cancellation: Stops future renewals but does not end your current subscription or provide money back
- Refund: Returns some or all of your payment for the current subscription period
Cancelling your listing does not automatically trigger a refund. You must specifically request a refund according to the terms outlined in this policy.
AMENDMENTS TO POLICY
We reserve the right to update or change our refund policy at any time. Any changes will apply only to new purchases made after the revised policy is posted.
